treasure hunting yesterday

[livejournal.com profile] yourbasketbuddy and I went to the "flea mall" yesterday, and spent probably 3 hours there. I picked up a Gordon's Fisherman Bobblehead (now I can film my own deadliest catch episode), a brandy sniffer (for when I'm lounging around the house in my smoking jacket sipping on Cognac), a White Castle Coffee Mug, a Country Club Malt Liquor Mug, a Don Ho Polynesian Palace glass (Loball), some signs, and a quaffer shot glass. Then it was to Ted's Montana Grill for lunch (and to use up one of my birthday freebie coupons), and some shopping including six flags over booze ), where I picked up some beer, some bottles, and a shirt. I also advised some people on Abita products and met some people who were in medieval attire. They were out front reciting this familiar toast ) I commented that I knew that toast and they were impressed, so impressed that one of them came up to me while loading the car and said something along the line of I'd expect that bunch to know that toast, but not you, then he shook my hand and bid me a good day. I'm not sure why they were buying booze in medieval attire, but I'm sure they had a good reason.

Landshark Lager My Ass!!

There's a chance that along with various homebrews, I'll have some Yuengling at the tailgating for Buffett this year.

oh and [livejournal.com profile] yourbasketbuddy just reminded me that I left off a "Wet Your Whistle" mug that I purchased at the Flea Mall. It has an actual whistle in the handle.
