captain_philWhat a weekend! Saturday I was running amuck in Lexington with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yourbasketbuddy, We spent roughly 9 hours or so within a 2-3 square mile radius checking out stores including The Liquor Barn, the Hustler Store(I wish the coffee shop inside was open), a Meijer's, a couple of Walmarts, and Party City. We had lunch at Rafferty's, and before we left I introduced Paula to Mongolian BBQ.
The trip back was fun, and included some discussion about the wonderful mix of businesses around the Mt. Sterling exit (Lee's Fried Chicken, Krystal Burger, Huddle House, and a porn Store).
I was in bed by midnight and got up at 6, had breakfast, started laundry, went to H-ton to spring Luke from MU, we stopped off at a Walmart where I picked up the elusive Karoke machine. Luke's comment was "I hope this is for drunks to sing to. Sober people singing with a Karoke machine sucks". We went to the mall and wandered around for a bit, ate at Panera bread, and after I dropped him back off at MU, I stopped off atyourbasketbuddy's to drop of the Karoke machine and to entertain her with my wonderful rendition of "Shiny Happy People". I tore myself away from singing long enough to see Tony Stewart climb the fence at the Chicagoland racetrack YAY!!!!.
I got dinner, and bottled my coffee oatmeal stout, now I'm trying to stay awake long enough to finish this post.
and YAY I did it!
