Fellow beer lovers,

Many of you read in the paper about the unfortunate accident suffered by Will "Baxter" Harrison while in Thailand, Will is the son of Kay Dillon, owner of Okay's Pub. Will may have severed his spinal chord and is going to need to get the best medical care available.

Kay is in Thailand right now, using her last bit of savings to get there. She just started the restaurant and has been just getting by. She is assessing Baxter's situation and wanted to be there at these critical early hours after his injury.

Many of the Okay's crowd has put together an idea of holding a benefit to raise some much needed cash to help them out. The details are still coming together but it will be this Friday at O'kays Pub, starting around 5pm. The basic idea is to have a minimum $10.00 donation at the door. We will have many local musicians playing through the evening along with drink (beer & wine) specials and some appetizers. There will also be the normal menu and bar items available at normal prices.

I think Okay's will be "the place to be" this Friday... We hope to see you and your checkbook there!
