First off today was a call that a line was torn down, it ended up being 200 feet of mainline (someone went thru with an overextended forklift), we managed to get it replaced without getting a truck stuck.  One of the installers was leaving a job, only to find that the creek had overrun the road, he had to park the truck somewhere and walk up the hill to the highway and get a ride back to take a spare truck to finish his orders for the day. 

I came home to change clothes answer some email and icq with sharkbait, then it was maintenance, which was interrupted by a call from Catlettsburg Fire Department saying that some lines were down and in the road.  It turned out to be a phone service drop (the line that runs from the mainline to the house), but our service drop to another house was torn down so I replaced it and then hid, I mean dried off for the rest of the day.

now i'm going to dry off a bit and it's off to Flyin J for dinner, then who knows.
