This is a good day to express your views to people in power, PHILLIP. You might have a suggestion that you want to make about employee affairs. Maybe you have a good plan to divide teams in a new way. Or perhaps you have some insights into some personnel problems. You're a good judge of people, and you are a bit of a natural psychologist. Trust your instincts today as you talk about how to improve things.

for some reason I'm ahead of schedule this morning, I got thru my morning routine by 6 AM, so I have the rare experience of finishing a pot of coffee before I go to work.

First off, did anyone happen to catch the Penguins game yesterday? They beat the Rangers! The race yesterday was pretty boring. But congrats to #17 (hey, he's sponsored by Carhartt, I have to support him :))

The new Betta is doing well, he hasn't adapted to the feeding schedule yet, but he's been doing the Betta Equivalent of yelling out "HEY BABY" to Bernice. She's reacting with the same reaction I always got, running and hiding. I haven't decided what to name the new one. Maybe Tessio after the character Abe Vigoda played in "The Godfather".

For anyone who happens to be perusing this, my first male bettta was named "Abe".

Before I finish the pot of coffee I'll leave ya with some Warren Zevon Lyrics )

I had a dream last night I was playing bass for The Dixie Chicks, but they kept getting mad at me for playing Phil Lesh styled bass lines to their songs, I was playing an acoustic upright bass too. Very Strange

Today wasn't too bad, I got about 14 amplifers swept( already half of what I got last week), got home, checked the garden, more lettuce is coming up, and the cantelope, cucumber, and squash seeds are really taking off, so I guess I'll have go dig another area in the yard for them I'm starting to really like this square foot gardening stuff. It lets my inner hippie get out in a harmless way :)

I had to make a grocery store run this evening, I got that out of the way and came back and practiced guitar, I think I'm going to give the Taylor a night off Thursday, the new material sounds great on the 12 string. Especially the Gordon Lightfoot classic "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"

I gotta go fold laundry and get some stuff out of the way in the kitchen, then I'm sure I'll be ready for bed.

I got the kitchen cleared up and laundry folded and put away. I really should work on that course for work, but I just don't have the attention span for it this evening. My only motivation in finishing it is getting my money back for it.

I was overcome with a sudden urge to hear the Grateful Dead song "Estimated Prophet", so I did away with ABBA for now.

It only took a few minutes to find a show with it. It's a pretty good show with the exception of a small animal caught in a trap that you can hear during various songs, oh wait, my bad, That's just Donna.

Terrapin Station just started, This is probalby one of my favorite tunes by the Dead. If I had to make a list of five it would be the following in no particualr order

  1. Terrapin Station
    Doin That Rag
    Jack Straw
    Samson and Delilah
    Mississippi Half Step
