Sometime late last night one of the hoses came off the pool pump. Too bad it didn't happen during daytime when I could have at least seen it. I'm sure it was a sight to behold.
Guitar class was good last night, we worked on "Lost Indian", I'm going to try to find some cool stuff to do with the rhythm part of it. One of the guys who teaches there went to Merlefest this year(and won first place in the flatpick guitar contest! Congrats to Brandon Bentley), he was telling me that Tony Rice sounded good. He couldn't see him but he said that either he's singing again or he's got someone in his band that sings just like him. I really hope he can sing again. I'd love to hear to record a cover of Lightfoot's "Canadian Railroad Trilogy".
I'm now back down to my "Pre-Jazzfest" weight, so I can go back to phase 2 of South Beach. Woohooo!!
Nothing much else to report today, I'm just glad it's Friday!
Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Columbus for a Bluegrass festival. I'll be back sometime Sunday with tales of my adventure
