It was a pretty good day at work today, I got a "commendation" from my supervisor for finding a fiber optic cable that wasn't spliced during an outage a few years ago that should have been spliced, I'm now entered for a quarterly drawing for various prizes from corporate and locally. I also got my certificate for completing my NCTI course.

and more importantly, my truck is fixed, so I'm going up north to pick it up tomorrow, wooo Road Trip!

I took a close look at the mailbox this evening, and the post is rotten so I'm going to replace the whole thing this weekend. I'm going with Plastic this time tho, that ought to foil the woodpeckers.

Since I'll be on the road tomorrow, I don't want to neglect my duties of posting Warren Zevon lyrics on Friday, so I'm posting them ( tonight. )

I've got a 4 hour drive one way tomorrow, I'll probably be heading out around 6:30- 7:00 ish, then be back at the ranch around the usual time
