update! and some sillyness
Apr. 14th, 2005 06:11 amdoes this make me a ( cunning linguist? )
Now for the ( horriscope.. )
Yesterday work was pretty uneventful, I had a service call, some maintenance and headed to Boyd County to help with a modem problem, which was up and running by the time I got there, then over to WV to help a guy get a line across the road, but he'd already gotten it when I'd got there. So it was home!
I cleaned up the kitchen for a bit, sent ogo messages to
sharkbait and shot some pool out in the garage. Still have a lot of work to do on the bank shots.
I have to get my physical for DOT card today. I'm really dreading that. *cough cough*
I'm having The Martinsville Blend of Nascar Coffee this morning. It's not too bad. I'd like to try the Daytona and Talladega blends. I just wonder if the Talladega blend has restricter plates? I guess for the road courses they could make a bland and boring blend. As for Bristol? Egads!
I don't have guitar class tonight, Robin is playing some shows this week and next. I'll do some more cleaning, pay some bills, and shoot some pool this evening. This weekend will be the first mowing, and maybe I'll get the pool open.
Gee, I just saw on The Weather Channel that they now have a "Grilling Index", where they actually rate days for grilling out potential. C'mon, enough is enough! I'm sure some of ya'll out there have grilled in less than perfect weather. I had a neighbor back in Lewisburg who had steaks on a grill during a snowstorm.
anyway, it looks like decent weather for my turn on call next week.
Keep an eye out for a
may_lyn post inspired Warren Zevon Friday tomorrow morning!
and now here's the future award winning entry for the BYO Magazine Label Entry. Thanks to Kerry for the ( artwork. )
Now it's time to round up some food and head off for a day of fun, adventure, and a physical exam.
wheeee
