wheeee....

since sharkbait threw down the guantlet, I'll have to respond, but I'll get on that after work this even.

Yesterday was a fairly uneventful day at work, I swept amps, and even had an all too brief sharkbait sighting while I was having lunch.  I had to go over to WV to help with a construction job yesterday, Wednsday someone decided to burn a brushpile which he put right in the middle of the right of way.   The trees around the brushpile were burned about 40-50 feet up and all he had to keep the fire under control was a garden hose with a weak flow.  The fire damaged the co-ax, fiber, and also the phone lines.  With the bill the guy is going to get, I'm sure he'll think twice about lighting a candle, much less a huge brushfire.


Then it was off to Nirto for guitar class, with a stop at Starbucks for a Yukon with a shot of espresso, and Border's for REK's new CD.  The new Robert Earl Keen CD is great. It's got the songs that make me think about somebody, and of course the songs that make me think A.  How much Shiner Bock did he drink when he wrote this? and B.  Where can I get Shiner Bock?  Two thumbs up on the CD.  We worked on a Joplin piano tune called "Cascades".  It should keep me occupied for a while. 

Then it was back to the ranch,  I had to make an early morning Walmart/Hardee's run since I'm out of coffee.
