Happy Birthday wishes going out to the Blood, and Guts of Kansas, Robbie Steinhardt. It seems like just yesterday when I bought "The Best of Kansas" for the song "Dust in The Wind", but was blown away other tracks such as "The Wall", and "Song For America". After hearing "Leftoverature" and "Point of Know Return", it was all over for me.
Work today was spent on preventive Maintenance, I was working in a node with about 18 amps, out of those 18, only about 5 are reachable by truck, the rest are all in backyards, and down hills and in briar patchs. All the ones I worked on today were perfect except for one nasty one up a hillside, it had a bad response, which in this case means those furry little bastards have been at work. Fittings were changed and the levels were still Fubar, but then it was off to Greenup for another problem, an amplifier that needs totally changed out, and of course it's ladder work.
Most of the stuff in Greenup is a pain to get to because the power company ran their lines following the old EK railroad tracks, and when the road was built and the train tracks were pulled up, the power company left their stuff where it was.
Only 2 more days till Vandalia, 8 days till The Appalachain Uprising, and then....
Sharkycon!
