I'm listening to a Grateful Dead recording from 1978 this morning.  "Ramble On Rose" is sounding good until this horrible screeching sound comes out of nowhere.  I thought it was a small animal getting caught in a trap, but then I realized that it was just Donna. 

I gotta work on that Donna filter

Replacing the bad bit of underground cable went extraordinarily well, thanks to a section of conduit and the fact that we have a system for splicing in sections. we had the cable off for probably 5 minutes or so while we cut it in.

The rest of the day was spent on maintence, I picked the node I live in to sweep today since everything is so easy. My swimming pool looked good, all it needed was a scantily clad woman in it, but alas there was none.

gotta run, might have to go to work wheeee

While going to dinner this evening I saw a trash truck with some legs from a doll sticking out from under the smasher.

Too bad "Layla" wasn't playing on the radio, that woulda been a bit much though.

I was listening to a Mule show for those playing along at home. I wish I coulda gotten my ass kicked this year, maybe Uncle Warren will hit the road this fall.

Durnit!

Grateful Dead night at WV Power Baseball, too bad I'm on call or I coulda gone, seeing as how I'm dressed for the event!

Hell, they could have NASCAR/Grateful Dead night and I'd be properly attired, thanks to my #38 Elliot Sadler Groovy Summer Tie Dyed Shirt!
