Here's a little bit of news for any deadheads that might be reading this regarding the lost houseboat tapes. I'm hoping for some more stuff from The Pizza Tapes to surface, but it's just wishful thinking on my part.

t-7days and counting...

It's less than a week till the annual Buffett weekend,  Since 91 I think I might have missed maybe 2 or 3 tours,catching shows 5 states, 7 different venues.   I admit I haven't really been in the groove, so this evening I've got "Feeding Frenzy", and "Far Side of the World" in shuffle, along with "Where it All begins" by the Allmans (hey, the rest of my Buffett stuff is out in the garage,and besides "Where it all begins" is a pretty kick ass CD). 

after dinner I'm going to work on getting the kitchen ready for the weeks prep work, there are jello shots to be made, special bloody mary mix to be prepared, and who knows what other culinary mischief.

I really hope Buffett plays some of his "A1A", and "Livin and Dying in 3/4 Time" stuff,  and drops a cover song that I've already dubbed a beer run tune, also his cover of "Time Loves a Hero" would be nice to hear, since he played it once on this tour and didn't do it again.

If he plays "Scarlet Begonias", I might just have to twirl.



On the work front, it's been a pretty uneventful weekend on call, 5 hours OT, and I get paid Friday so it will make for a good weekend!
