I did something odd last night, I slept!  I conked out about 9 or so, I don't think I moved until about 4 this morning.  For some reason despite being in the groove for Buffett, I had The Grateful Dead's cover of "The Promised Land" stuck in my head.  So I had to find a show with it.

Today at work it looks like more A/C wrangling, hopefully I'll be able to get turned loose on sweep, I would like to get a decent amount of amps done during this short week, but if not. So be it!

I should have my truck back today too!  Yay!!

I found this article about this mornings passing of fiddle great Vassar Clements....

Here's a picture I took last year when I saw him perform at the Spring Bluegrass Faire in Columbus OH )

Work today was the usual, some running around, several changes of plans before noon, maintenance until the rains hit, and helping someone on a late afternoon call.

I made a walmart run and picked up some stuff for the concert this weekend, I've got some peeled cherry tomatoes soaking in Heaven Hill Premium Kentucy Vodka for a recipe, tomorrow I'll do a few more tings, and by Friday the bulk will be out of the way.

Climbing recertification is coming up either this week or next, I'm really dreading it, but I'm sure I'll pass.  It sucks because the pole the test is given on is unsecured and it wobbles big time.  At least I don't have to pull the lasher up this time, ugh!
