uh ) I'd better tidy up the place a bit then!

and now something new! My Daily online Tarot Report! )
That sounds reassuring!

Now some stuff from ilovebacon.com )

and now a new movement noscruff

I start call today, it should make for nice paycheck since I've already got 9 hours OT going on it. Since I haven't used the phrase daily like I said, I guess It will be some good "Oyster Money".

Speaking of "Oyster Money", looks like some locals are stealing copper from from various sources to make some extra money, probably for beer and smokes. They just featured a bit on the local news about some people who stole the wiring from a local football field. It looks like whoever did it had a pretty good knowledge of what to cut, since noone got killed. They also had to climb up the lighting pole to cut wires to feed it through the conduit. Maybe it's a rouge electricain on the loose.

Looks like upper 80s/lower 90s for a couple of days this week with high humidity. Those of you who get to wear lightweight and light colored clothing and have access to AC at work today, think of me will ya?

[livejournal.com profile] puck_nut, I'm glad you liked the gift I mailed to ya, if the pager gods are quiet this week I'll try to get something you'll like even more on the way to ya.

Guess I'd better get ready for work, I've gotten out of the habit of packing lunch, I really need to get back into it, but since I've been on service calls and am having to carry a couple of more digital boxes and more modems, I don't really have the room in the truck for my lunchbox. How bad is that?

Lots of "Windshield Time" at work today, I started out on a call in Sheridan, then to the Grandview in Southpoint, followed by Burlington, then Kenova, a couple in Boyd County, and then to Greenup. I stopped off at the Shell station in Greenup, it's nice to be able to stop there and not have to be afraid of being drug back in the cooler and having unspeakable things done to me. Nothing against unspeakable things, just not at a Shell Station in Greenup KY.

After wrapping up the last call, I stopped off at Wendys and got a sandwich, then headed up the Parkway, then to WV for what I thought was going to be digging in the dirt, but I ended up splicing in a mainline splitter, then I headed home. Not bad 4 hours OT. Oh and when I stopped off at Wendys I found a $5 bill laying in the grass. Lets see, last time I went to Wendy's I got extra chicken on a salad, this time I found $5 laying out. The Wendy's in Greenup must be my lucky place!

I'm doing some laundry now, and I also have to say that taking my boots off after work today has to be one of the greatest feelings I've ever had while being clothed.

That's about all for now, I'm going to call it a night in a few, and get up and do it all over again!

Oh yeah!!
