Monday Morning...
Sep. 4th, 2006 09:23 amIt was pretty much a lazy uneventful weekend here, I did a few things though, but have to do quite a few more today. I've got beer to bottle! I was debating on making a mall run for some ingredients for the now legendary Horny Goat Weed/Siberian Ginseng Ale, but I think I'll hold of on that for a while, so it will have to be Oatmeal Coffee Stout, and Rasberry Wheat Beer for a while. MMM MMM Good!
I'm really leaning towards switchin call and headin to Cinci for the Mule show in November. The setlists that are coming in are really killer, and if I find out they play "Trane" at the Cinci show I'll want to kick myself. Here's last night's setlist for those ( playing along at home. ) Yeah, BLD is on the list, but so is Banks of the Deep End and Rocking Horse so it evens out.
I really wish I'd of picked up more of Arcadia's Starboard Stout, I really enjoy that beer, it goes good with steak too. Yum!

Sep. 4th, 2006 06:15 pmThe first batch of "Woodshed Oatmeal Coffee Stout" is bottled and will be ready to drink in time for the boat trip! I couldn't help myself and poured a glass before conditioning and it's an interesting brew.
Can't wait till it's ready, but it will give me a chance to brush up on my flatfooting skills!

I was going to bed but curiosity got to me and I HAD to give the Gregg Allman/Warren Haynes solo set from Red Rocks a listen. Hey, I can stay up late cruising around the tristate in a big freakin truck taking care of everyones telecommunications and entertainment needs, so I can certainly stay up a bit later than usual to listen to some tunes. Damn good set! For those with Bit Torrent here's the link.
