I almost forgot about wrappin up my thrilling Friday at work! I reset the reverse levels on an amplifier, had a service call at a skanky trailer(owner not home, they are going to reschedule, but as I was checking outside, I saw a line running from their window to a splitter on their neighbor...BUSTED. They'll be in for a surprise....), the rest of the day was routine stuff, other than taking 45 minutes to find a house, but hey, it's an honest mistake I can see me not seeing 12th street as East Chestnut. Then I had a problem which really needed a line replaced but their crawlspace was full of water and I don't do crawlspaces full of water (nor does anyone else), so I fixed the bad splice, reported a crawlspace full of water and went on my merry way. The customer was happy with the improved video reception too, so at least I fixed one problem. :)

I got home, ordered pizza watched hockey and went to bed.

I had a dream I was at a Mule show, and was DFC two rows back. They played "Fallen Down" though! *crosses fingers that this is an omen*

and ok, I had to dig out a version of "Fallen Down" this morning.

here's some good news! We can eat spinach again! Very good news for Popeye, but bad for Bluto!
time to go do some things before the folks in the call center show up and start dishing out the calls.

So far 2 hours OT today, there was a modem down. When I got there the customer didn't answer so I started rerouting the service drop to their house. Someone showed up and I ran it into their splitter and got their service back on fairly quickly. Taking the old line down and rolling it up was a pain, but then I'm home.

I've got some bacon on the stove, and I'm passing some time with going through some concert recordings I've accumulated, including some Mule shows I didn't remember getting. Sheesh!

*EDIT*

Ok, Mark O' Connor and Steve Morse should have never have been allowed to have been in the same band. "The Bash" is just scary! Makes me want to give up playing anything and go sign up for some scrapbooking lessons.

I'm watching the Farm Aid Webcast, having gone to the store during Steve Earl's performance. Is it just me or is Steve Earl starting to look a bit like Garrison Keillor?

[livejournal.com profile] may_lyn posted the list of October Holidays and October 26 is a day called "Mule Day", I'm sure I can find some way to celebrate that day. Hold the phone! I'm on vacation that day! It's already something worth celebrating.

I wish Farm Aid would get someone on a little more up tempo, the acts on so far are putting me to sleep. sheesh...Where's my Mule?

A Million Miles from yesterday
Unring Them Bells
Bad Little Doggie
Mr. High and Mighty

Not too bad of a set, now that their portion is over I can turn it off before Ryan interviews someone else.
