Weekend Recap! or Diggin on the Swine!

After finally getting on the road Saturday, I stopped at the B-ville Starbucks for a JFK, and hit I-64, not too bad of a trip, Lewisburg is still there. I didn't make it in time for Taste of Our towns,maybe next year. Lots of BBQ pork was consumed from When Pigs Fly BBQ (no website available, but $20 gets you 2 pounds of pulled pork, your choice of sauces, slaw, beans, buns, and 4 servings of Iced Tea or Lemonade). Great place, they don't have a website or I'd post the link. I did pick up a pack for dinner and snacks this week.

After helping my grandmother move some furniture and making fun of my brother in his Greenbrier Golf Course Staff clothes, I hit I-64 back to KY, and made pretty good time considering that I hit the post race drive home traffic.

It really saddened me to hear this bit of news about Freddy Fender.


Govt Mule really tore it up last night at the Warfield. ( Wow! )

Speaking of "Muleish" things, Friday night I had a dream that puck_nut had talked me into getting old school mule "Dose" logo(see the icon I'm using) tattooed on my left shoulder. How bizarre....
