Another weekend comes to a grinding halt
Mar. 14th, 2010 10:13 pmYesterday was a rainy, dreary day so since I couldn't really do a lot anyway, I went to the Golden Corral for breakfast. It pretty much ruined me for the day, but it was worth it! I did a couple of odds and ends around the ranch in between carb induced naps.
Today was geocaching day, I started in the northern end of Greenup and worked my way south, logging 8 finds, getting 3 dnfs, and one that I couldn't do because of the floodwaters. I also got to check out some local history at churches/cemeteries dating back to the 1800s. Among the more interesting things today was a two seat outhouse at one of the churches. I did get pics, I'll post them here tomorrow, My goal is to get 100 finds by my birthday, it will be cutting it close, but I have a three day weekend at the beginning of April.
Since it's March Madness, I filled out brackets based on ultra super secret scientific methods that would boggle the minds of the most seasoned bracketologists. I have Syracuse beating Duke for the championship.
The ol clock on the wall says it's time to call it a night, look for more tomorrow
