yes indeed, here we are..

Kind of an update of the past few weeks here. The surgery to correct my fractured patella was last Monday, big thanks to sharkbait for getting me to and from the operation. The operation went well, I was out of the OR at 9:30 or so, and back home eating an undercooked McD's burger by 12:30. I was clear to drive 24 hours after the operation, but couldn't because I couldn't get my leg up high enough to get in the blazer.

Thanks go out to whiskeyjenny for taking me to the follow up apt yesterday. That apt went well too, my staples are out, but I still have to keep my knee immobile for a few more weeks.

I went for a drive today, it was nice getting out even if it was a walmart run. Im starting to really hate those carts. I had to go through two before getting one that I could get my leg situated in, and also worked.
