Feb. 5th, 2011 11:29 pmI went to a geocaching meet and greet over in Grayson today, It's neat to get to know some of the people that you only know through a name on a logsheet or through some of their handywork. Some tales were told, and the cache in this video was mentioned a couple of times, and yes I did find it, unassisted and without disturbing a frog.
after the meet and greet ended, we were given a list of caches in the area, 4 of them had prizes hidden in them for the event. I went 7 for 7 in finds, but didn't find any of the prizes. I did get to see a lot of places I hadn't been before and break in a new pair of Merrell's.
Some of the people were telling stories about run ins with the law and some security guards with tasers. So far nothing like that's happened to me. I've been run off of some property before by the neighbors of the landowners I was on.
