There's a light at the end of the tunnel!!

everyone worked today still cleaning up the remains of "THE BIG STORM", but it's looking better. Friday night I had to stay at the Greenup KY Hubsite because the backup generator got fried by lightning and I was keeping a portable running to keep the lasers going. The rest of the time was repairing blowin fuses replacing crapped out modules and gassing up generators. Monday we had just finished getting a section back on when all of the area went off. It ended up that there was some fiber optic cable that had been shot ages ago and the one piece of shot had shifted and damaged the fiber.


Everything after 3PM Yesterday is overtime. It looks like it's going to be at least 26 hours OT, plus 8 hours for a holiday. I'll need the OT money to recover from the past 6 days before it's over with.
