Back where it all begins.. (began?)
Today I took the ever so lovely ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sharkbait on a scouting mission to see the airport in Charleston before Quartercon next month, I missed the exit and was heading east anyway so I opted to share an important part of my past with here, yep folks, I took her back to the Ol college town, none other than Montgomery WV, home of the West Virginia University Institute of Technology! puck_nut, I was right, she would have fit right in, within 20 minutes of being in town she wanted to go to the 7-11 for something to drink. btw, it wasn't homecoming this weekend, it was open house.
We went to Kanawha city to check out Budget Tapes (a local head shop since the 70s), and did a drive by of the airport, then it was off to dinner at TGIFridays, followed by some shopping. then she got to witness me drop a bottle of wine while trying to uncork it. it didn't spill much.
I'm a little too buzzed to type this evening, so if you remind me I'll post the rest of today's adventure tomorrow
