Ok, I'm back home. After the pager going off at about 2 AM, and every hour after that (one of our hubs was running on a generator, and the security company notifies us every hour about how long it's been running), I make it to work, it's off to Boyd County to check on a system outage, some power mainline was torn down by a tree, so the supply that powers the equiptment was out. I hooked up to the inverter on my truck for a while, until one of the installers who is on light duty shows up with a generator. I was heading to WV to check on an outage there, but it was power related, so I grab lunch, check on the guy running the generator, and then head over to South Point, due to about 1000 feet of mainline being down. Getting it back up and running took the remainder of the day, so I checked on a couple of the guys runnning generators and headed home. The power is back on in WV, but the other guy on call is out with a few of the installers checking on some things.
I've always browsed wedding announcements for interesting name combinations, but the ones on ilovebacon.com today are the best ever.


Rocky is almost back to his pre-injury status, he still limps around some but is showing signs of improvement.
