It was a really uneventful day at work today, I flagged traffic while the construction crew replaced a pole today, and was turned loose on maintenance. After work I made a run to Huntington for their St. Pat's day festivities. I caught the last 5 minutes of Robin's set, talked to him briefly, and listened to the next act. They used to be called "Shenanigans", I'm not sure what name they go by now. Their singer has the most amazing voice I've heard. It was also the first performance I've ever seen where the singer had a child strapped to her (in one of those baby carriers that look like one of the tandem parachute jump rigs), her baby was very well behaved while they were singing, and seemed to be having a blast.
Then it was off to Pullman Square, where I picked up a magazine, and a coffee, then headed to the ABC, where I picked up a six pack of Leinenkugel Red, which I think is the same thing that they serve at "Cheeseburger In Paradise", only relabeled as "Island Ale" That makes two of their beers that I've really liked.
The attendance at the St. Patricks Day celebration in H-ton wasn't that great, it didn't get much publicity.
Since Robin was performing in Huntington, I didn't have guitar class this evening, so it's CSI, and OGOing messages to
sharkbait.
That's all for this evening
