Yesterday we had two more "Can't complete disconnect" calls to run on, one was because of a dog in the yard and one was because of heavy brush. Both calls were completed without any problem. It's only been 8 years or so since I was doing installs/trouble calls and I never called in on anything like that. Currently there are some employees certified to climb and some aren't. The really crappy part is that the ones that climb don't recieve any additional pay than the non climbers, so it's just as easy for them to call in with "unable to complete" than it is for them to fight the brush and either take a ladder or climb the pole. I hate climbing as much as most other people, but hell, it's part of the job.

Everybody knows that we all have to change our work habits from
time to time, especially if all the signs push you to it! You need to be
clear-headed and clairvoyant today PHILLIP. There is a lot of electricity in the
air at work presently. But it could result in new opportunities for you. You
should still try to stay vigilant today.

Time to get ready for work!
