"The Birds Eye Lowdown". At a very impressionable age, I was exposed to comedy/radio theatre group "The Firesign Theatre". One of their routines was a take on hard boiled detective playss entited "The Further Adventures of Nick Danger Third Eye". One of his lines was "What's the Bird's Eye Lowdown on this caper, whatever that means". I kinda liked it so I used it :)
My journal is subtitled.... "A collection of hard boiled tales from the captain" An attempt to make my life appear more interesting than it really is
My Friends page is called...."We're all bozos on this bus" Taken from another "Firesign Theatre" play, and yep I'm a bozo
My name is listed as...Captain Phil
My username is listed as....captain phil. Some neighbors in my old apartment building started calling me Captain Phil, so I adopted it.
