It was a semi-lazy day here today, I had breakfast at Bob Evans, and all the regulars were there, the eldery couple that's always there around the same time I'm there, the ever present AEP crews, and the guy from the pipeline construction company. It's very surreal at times. After breakfast I came back home cleaned a bit, played Civ, then ventured out to get my phone from Alltel. The guy at Alltel commented on my Mule shirt, I told him about the show in Columbus and mentioned Umphreys opening for them and how they played for 2 hours and he said "I like Umphrey's but don't think I could take them for two hours". I think the only people who could take 2 hours of UM were the people behind us at the show. After I got my phone I headed to Krogers for some provisions, then came back here and hit the pool for a while. Then it was off to Speedway for a lottery ticket, some grilling out, and then back to the pool. I got a cigar lit, and just as soon as I took the first puff I got called out for a problem in the area where I'd been working yesterday. Since this was a "special" cigar, I smoked it on the way to the call, when I saw that the house was off of the same pole as the one with the problem I figured they were being hit with too much signal. So I took the meter and what I thought could fix it. Lo and behold they were being hit with about 10 more Db than they should have been so I padded the signal down and all was good.. and the cigar wasn't finished yet! I grilled out this evening, watched what was supposed to of been a hockey game, but wasn't pretty except for Edmonton fans. Sheesh
