One down....

captain_philWork related rambling ahead, I ended up working over 1/2 hour this evening due to a distribution problem that had probably been a problem for 3-4 year. A piece of mainline wasn't all the way in the connector and would cause the picture to flicker off and on.
I also had a banner day of sweeping amps, I got 16 swept. I think there are only 26 or so more to get in the Greenup System, and that's all until October/November. I'm going to try to sweep close to The Ranch next week so I'll be able to get ready for the Jazzfest trip.
Sometime this week we're going to have meetings *gasp* to go over the requirements for advancement from our current position. From what I gather, I'm one step away from being a system technician. Well two steps is more like it, there has to be an opening for system tech, and I have to jump through all the hoops.
We also had a meeting this morning about filling out the time sheets, it seems that we'd been filling them out wrong for the past year or so.
I found a handwritten note on my door this morning, from "Fat Boys Lawn Service", I wondered what they are doing since their rap career ended. "Brrrrrrr Mow' em! Huh huh huh Mow em!"
Ok that was bad, I apologize!
This time of year I especially wish I was independantly wealthy, Second period of the Bruins/Canadiens game 7 and it's scoreless! I'm amazed by all the empty seats in the stands. If I was in a town with a hockey team in the playoffs I'd be there, oh wait, I was near a town with a hockey team in the playoffs, and I was there :)
Since by now I've probably put anyone reading this to sleep, I'll end right here :)
