and heeere we gooo
Feb. 9th, 2004 06:08 amPost Grammy Awards Monday here, Zevon picked up a couple for "Disorder In The House", and Best "Folk" album. Wierd Al got best Comedy Album, and Jeff Beck got best rock instrumental. Overall nothing suprising from what I watched or read about this morning. The Tribute to Zevon was nice. It was a lot of the people who worked on "The Wind" singing along to the recoding of "Keep me in your heart". It was also nice to see Doc Watson get a lifetime achievement award. B.B. King co-presenting an award with Joe Perry and Steven Tyler was good. Tyler and Perry was talking about what an honor it was to be on stage with B.B. and B.B. said "Well, I've been an Aerosmith fan since I was a kid".
I hit the scale and weighed in at 215 this morning, at the rate I'm going I should be at my goal in early to mid April, and the NOLA trip this spring shouldn't cause too much of a backslide for me.
That's all for this morning, tune in this evening for thrilling tales from cable guy land
