And not only does everyone in the movie know Kung Fu, but they are dressed for Kung Fu fights at all times. For that matter, the police are raiding an Angel Dust Lab, and they don't bring any kind of guns?
Oh wait, all the bad guys have been defeated using Kung Fu, so now the guys with the guns decide to show up.
Here's a recipe for a soup, I'm not too fond of Coriander, but I'll pass it along in case any of ya wants to
1 tbsp coriander seeds (or more)
A clove or two of garlic, crushed
2lb (or more) carrots, peeled and sliced
2 pints chicken or vegetable stock
3 tbsp cilantro, chopped
sour cream
Dry roast the coriander seeds in an iron skillet for a few minutes, then crush them roughly with a mortar and pestle or similar implement. Then melt a little butter in a big pan and gently soften the carrots with the crushed coriander and garlic for 5-10 minutes. Add the stock, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the carrots are tender. Then liquidize, return to the pan, stir in the cilantro and sour cream, check for seasoning and heat through. Serve garnished with cilantro and, if you like, some more crushed coriander seeds.
