captain_philI'm not really optimistic but I just wanted everyone to see the animate frog for optimistic :)
So far "A Guide to Haunted West Virginia" is a good book. It breaks the state up into regions and covers haunted locations in each and gives directions to get to them.
I'm diggin on some Deep Purple on Musicmatch this evening, their latest CD sounds pretty good, I'll have to look for it. I checked Pollstar for some Deep Purple tour dates, nothing close. Maybe next year. My Steve Morse pick will lose it's power if it's not in the presence if it's rightful owner soon! Ok, I just want to see "The Master" play again. I feel so cheated that "The Riff Raff" wasn't on their DVD.
I'm on call tomorrow, so I'll be taking care of some chores around the ranch, maybe mowing the lawn, and doing something about my spring at the pool.
I'm feeling the lure of New Orleans this fall, I'm checking flights on expedia. One out of Huntington Tristate costs about $450 and hits Pittsburgh, Philly, Buffalo, and DC before hitting New Orleans, about 8 hours after flight time.
no thanks! Lexington looks Do-able, I'll just have to make sure I change out of my Lineboots before I get on the plane, I can just imagine going thru security with those on!
a company called freecondoms.com, apparently make purchases from companies and get points to apply towards merchandise. It's an interesting concept, but I can't help buy laugh at getting 300 points for "The Childrens Book Club"
On a more serious note, "Contact Lost" by Deep Purple just came on, it's a very powerful instrumental inspired by the Space Shuttle disaster. I'd read the press release but hadn't heard the song until now.
