Congrats to Jamie McMurray and the # 1 team for winning The Daytona 500. The Fans in Atlanta were also happy thanks to this promotion..

You never know who will show up at the track, there was a surprise guest at the Daytona 500, and here's a video of who it was.

I have to say that it was great watching an actual race for first rather than one person way out in front, and a race for second. Two Thumbs up for having Harry Connick Jr. singing the national anthem at Daytona.


Styx is performing the prerace show at this weekend's race, oh and it's Danica's West Coast Debut. Fontana really isn't my favorite track for stock car racing, I'd rather see a cup race added somewhere else, but then I'm biased. I hope Styx sounds better than Tim McGraw, he was sounding kinda off at Daytona, I guess his Auto-tune was in the shop. They shoulda kept the Zac Brown Band around for the 500, but then again, I'm biased.
