class materials are purchased!
Nov. 17th, 2007 10:27 pmA very productive day at The Liquor Barn A very helpful employee helped me find the beers for the presentation part of the class. For the American Barleywine I bought Bigfoot. For the Strong Ale, I bought Old Peculiar,and for the English Barleywine I bought some Thomas Hardy's Ale. For my personal consumption, I picked up a 6 pack of Arcadia Ale's Starboard Stout. a few Abita Jockamo IPAs, and an Abita Harvest Pecan, along with a way cool Dogfish Head Ale pint glass. In other beer news Landshark Lager is available in KY. *tumbleweeds blow past*
Lunch was at Rafferty's, and lots of shopping was done, and for the record I spent more money than
yourbasketbuddytoday. Along with all the beer, I picked up two of the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas CDs. I give them both two thumbs up, but hey it's Brian Setzer.
Geico has redeemed themselves in my eyes for the caveman commercials (I admit it, I didn't like the caveman ads). Peter Frampton with the Talk Box!!! Yeah!! Now we're talking! It's a commercial well worth looking for.
