captain_philI know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, or we have something else in common, and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me, and I thank you for your interest in my words.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they enjoy an ice cold Artic Bay with a rasberry zinger."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.
nothin much else today, I did a little online shopping this morning, it took care of two people on my list, I'm not sure if I'll get cards out this year or not, but we shall see!
The Happy Holidays Commercial from Husson's Pizza just came on, so I guess the pizza genie commercial is mothballed for now.

You could feel tempted to take the day off from work, PHILLIP. You might have low levels of physical energy. You might enjoy sleeping in and getting some extra rest. If you can't do this, try to schedule frequent breaks throughout your day. See if you can take a short catnap in the afternoon to help you to relax. Or take a brisk walk during your coffee break and get some fresh air. which sounds good to me.
and some late breaking news in the "does anyone REALLY give a rats ass about this department". Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's Sister is pregnant
I heard a song recorded by Tim O'Brien this morning called "Look Down that Lonesome Road". I really love this
They say whiskey slows you down and clouds up your thinkin
But as long as they make whiskey I'd say we'll keep on drinkin
As long as life keeps hittin hard, a drink will help you to take it
And long as we drink whiskey, they'll continue to make it
Some folks have to slow down if they're maimed or lame
Other folks keep movin, keep rockin on just the same
I walk like an old fox, I shake my big old tail
Even though there's a hell hound he's sniffin on my trail
Look down that lonesome road, before you travel on
I hate to say goodbye, so I'll just say so long
and so now, I'll just say so long!
