Lack of funding forces Ganassi to shut down the #40 car driven by Dario Franchitti. If Ashley Judd would show up at the races to sit on the pit box he'd do better. He couldn't do any worse that's for sure.
News Conference announced from HMS about who will be driving the #5 car next season. It's expected to be Mark "The Kid" Martin. It's good to see him sticking around racing after a couple of retirements. I gotta admit I was hoping to see Smoke as the driver.
In the Nationwide series.. The #5 crew chief was penalized for using inappropriate language this weekend Here's the quote..“It doesn’t matter, we’ve got a wrecked racecar and we’re only 40-something laps in the race,” Walter said. “That’s racing. (Expletive) happens.”
Bruton Smith says that the two dates at New Hampshire are safe.
