First track is Dave Matthews on "Fat Man in the Bathtub". I'm not crazy about this track, Dave's voice just doesn't suit this song, and even with Sonny Landreth, the song sounds watered down.
"Something in the Water", features Bob Seger on lead vocals, and Brad Paisley on guitar. This is more like it!!
"Dixie Chicken" sounds great with Vince Gill on vocals, various members of The Coral Reefer Band, and Sonny Landreth.
"See You Later Alligator" has Paul Barrere and Shaun Murphy handling vocals, and again a few of the Coral Reefers are present and accounted for.
"Champion of the World" features Jimmy Buffett and Paul Barrere on vocals, I really like this song a lot.
"The Weight" features Paul Barrere on vocals and along with Mac Macanally and Michael Utley sitting in, Bela Fleck plays the banjo.
"Don't you just know it" features Paul Barrere, Shaun Murphy, and Sam Clayton on vocals, with Mac on Tic Tac Telly. Sam Clayton hits some notes so low that they are out of my range.
"Time Loves a Hero" features Jimmy Buffett and Bill Payne on vocals, Robert Greenidge on pans, along with Utley,Ralph MacDonald, and Mac lending their talents. This is a killer version of the song.
"Willin" features Brooks and Dunn on vocals. I really like this version a lot, country artists need to sing more songs about truck driving and smuggling these days.
"This Land is Your Land" has Phish bassist Mike Gordon on it, but you hardly know he's there. The vocals are great on this one.
"Oh Atlanta" features Chris Robinson and Bill Payne on vocals. It sounds pretty good except for some of Chris Robinson's vocals.
"Spanish Moon" is a reunion of sorts with one time vocalist Craig Fuller singing with Sam Clayton, also Vince Gill adds a nice acoustic guitar solo
"Trouble" is Bill Payne on piano and Inara George, daughter of founding member the late Lowell George, on vocals. I need to check out some more of Inara George's material.
"Sailin Shows" has Emmylou Harris singing as only she can, and Shaun Murphy sounding "saucy", the first half of the song is the original arrangement but then Sam Bush shows up with his fiddle and mandolin and funkyness ensues, but wait there's more.. Bela Fleck joins in and it turns into a real hoedown. In fact it would make me flatfoot while sober!
My copy of the CD hasn't arrived yet, I listened on Rhapsody. I heard something about a bonus track of "I will play for gumbo" on the actual CD, if it's on mine, I'll give it at least one listen.
