captain_philToday's Grateful Dead selection is from 10-29-77, recorded at Northern Illinois University. I really like the version of "Estimated Prophet", and "El Paso" is always a good one.
ahhh 1977. Gilligan's Island Reruns, Cartoons on Saturday Morning and my biggest worry was that toy submarine from Captain Crunch not working.
Now on to racing...
Drivers now have to decide which series they are going to go after the title in. They can still race in all three if they want, but you know who will have to settle for just sweeping all three races in a weekend.
The Points system....
There could be a new points system in the works, based on *GASP* how a driver finishes. What a concept!!
That should make it easier for someone to come in second to Jimmy Johnson's championship this year. I think he will have 7 titles before someone dethrones him. I've been wrong before though.
Testing on the new pavement started yesterday at Daytona. David Reutiman led the field with a 195-ish speed.
Next week, a guide to who is driving what this season....
