Lee Van Cleef from the old westerns was a great villain. He just had the look.
The Bond Villains were all great, at least in the Bond movies I watched (the last one was "A View to a Kill")
and of course.. Dr. Evil
They were all just so diabolical in their goals, letting nothing get in their way.
