There were problems with some distribution (Duh huh, some of it was under 4 feet of water), so I was back in forth in back yards trying to find where the problem was. Around lunch I fixed one problem, then it was off to the other side of the creek. I had to take a hacksaw and cut some bolts off ( I think they had been there since the Ford administration), to get at the equiptment. I had to modify the connector but it's working. And around Quitting time I was officially finished, love it when it works out that way. The whole cause of this mess? There's a flood gate that prevents the backwater from the Ohio River a few streets over, and a tree was stuck in it, thus preventing the closing of the gate. On top of that, piss poor utilities design. Let's see, We'll put all the utilities for this street right in the flood plain, it'll be ok.
