One Year Ago This week, and other stuff

captain_philWhat a difference a year makes! Last year there was a major icestorm, and lucky me, I got to be on call. I ended up with about 40 hours OT that week. Among the encounters that week were being stranded on a backroad in Greenup KY, Sitting in a truck until 2 AM while a power company crew replaced a pole, and just other on call stuff.
Last night in class Robin said "Gold Rush" sounded good. I'm still not comfortable with how it sounds, so I'll be upping my practice time to 45 minutes a night minimum.
OMG, VH1 is profiling Nickel Creek (not nickelback!) I'm going to be lost without my daily video griping. Thanks VH1, now my day is going to be ruined! How can I go to work without seeing Evanesance? Maybe she wised up and didn't walk out on the ledge this morning.
Time to finish getting ready for work. At least It's finally Friday.
