questionoftheday asks: What was the dumbest, most embarrassing injury you ever obtained?

My answer:

One time when I was in New Orleans I chipped a tooth on some popcorn. There are worse things that could have happened, but nobody believed me when I told then how it happened.

I can believe you. I've broken two molars, one year apart on opposite sides of my mouth, during an overnight shift both times, eating pretzels.

So yeah, I can see a tooth breaking from popcorn.

Which begs the question "why was an M&M frozen?"

My most embarrassing injury is probably when I was trying to pry apart frozen hamburgers with a knife and sliced my hand open. Twelve sutures and a cool scar later....
