(no subject)

Yesterday at work I moved over into the spare truck, picked up, then it was off to reverse path maintenance in Boyd County.  Two bad spans of cable were located, then we went over to CK to find some of the good ol Common Path Distortion, but it was too late in the day to get started.  Hopefully I'll be on that toda, otherwise it'll be on service since one of the troubleshooters is on vacation today. 

I went to Nitro for guitar last night, and stopped by puck_nut 's for a bit, picking up a CD to deliver to sharkbait at work this evening. Who knows, I might even throw in a JFK to go along with it.

friday round up

as suspected I was on service calls at work today, I had a call in Catlettsburg, the customer wasn't home so I tagged the door.  The GM radio'd me saying if I was clost to the office he wanted to ride with me on some calls in the afternoon.  I was hoping I'd be as far away from the office as possible today, but the next call was a few miles from the office.  The outlet was mangled so I spliced it back together and the modem still didn't work, so I ended up replacing the outlet, it worked and I was on my merry way to South Point City to change a tap, then I grabbed lunch at the office.  The GM was nowhere to be found so I wolfed down lunch, grabbed a call over in WV and high tailed it out of the office.  I completed the call, some reconnets, checked out a low line and was back home.

I grabbed dinner at Bob Evans and then made a Coffee/CD delivery to sharkbait, and the lj-less Jenny.  Hung out there for a while and headed home.

I'm watching the high school sports round up, some of these high school football scores are unreal.  69-40?  wow.  The high school I attended is lucky to get 40 points a season, much less a game!
