now for something that really shouldn't be in the news, or even exist for that matter, I'm glad Kentucky is working on banning it before it starts. I don't really get the whole concept of "internet hunting", You sit at home in your fruit of the looms, waiting for an animal to walk into camera range, get it in the crosshairs with your mouse and BLAM. Do the companies send flunkies out to process the animals,and ship them to the great white hunter, send them to a local food locker, or let the kill rot? For that matter if they do ship the meat to the hunter, couldn't they just run a CGI image of various wildlife and send the hunter some beef? Like they'd know the difference. I applaud those who ban this nonsense.

I got the new issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine yesterday and was amazed by an ad for this company, I'll put one of these on my list of things when my powerball numbers all come up this weekend :) I was so amazed that I didn't notice the Epiphone guitar ad (Epiphone makes a good guitar btw), featuring Gretchen Wilson. gah

Another day comes to a close...

Today wasn't too bad, spent most of the day hangin out while the electrician finished the forms for the pads for the big generators, then got fuel, and laid low for a bit. I was slated to go in at 5 or 6 AM to clean some fibers but at 4 they decided to go ahead and change the whole node, so I went back to South Point, and cleaned the fibers in the hub, then waited until it was verified that everything was back on. I promptly headed home, and changed clothes and left to go to Chilis for dinner with sharkbait, puck_nut, and Dale. Thanks go out to puck_nut for the tunage, I think I listened to "Odyssey", and "Gina Lola Breakdown" each 4 times on the way home. I didn't listen to the Hayseed Dixie CD yet, maybe this weekend.

After dinner we went to the mall for some Starbucks goodness.

Today I found that I did win the Funny Bone Lottery, I won 8 tickets to see The Untamed Shrews I think I might pass on that show though.

We had our wellness program meeting today, our marketing coordinator, who got roped into being wellness coordinator (better her than me!), gave us handouts about BMI, and also one on Bananas. and no puck_nut, she didn't sing the Gwen Stefani song.

Tomorrow I'm going to put "Grateful Friday" on hold, and roll out "Friday Featz"! Stay Tuned!!
