Here's some goodies from the Ilovebacon mailbag!

I guess this is an ad for an arena football team.

I found this strangely amusing

here's somethin from the NSFW News, [livejournal.com profile] nsingman, be sure to check these, this out

Here's a serious news item!
now for something that really shouldn't be in the news, or even exist for that matter, I'm glad Kentucky is working on banning it before it starts. I don't really get the whole concept of "internet hunting", You sit at home in your fruit of the looms, waiting for an animal to walk into camera range, get it in the crosshairs with your mouse and BLAM. Do the companies send flunkies out to process the animals, and ship them to the great white hunter, send them to a local food locker, or let the kill rot? For that matter if they do ship the meat to the hunter, couldn't they just run a CGI image of various wildlife and send the hunter some beef? Like they'd know the difference. I applaud those who ban this nonsense.

Now for Thursday Rush, since [livejournal.com profile] bella_cheval and I went on a tangent about this song last week or the week before, I decided to go with this one. I love the last

RUSH
Everyday Glory

In the house where nobody laughs
And nobody sleeps
In the house where love lies dying
And the shadows creep
A little girl hides shaking,
With her hands on her ears
Pushing back the tears,
'Til the pain disappears

Mama says some ugly words
Daddy pounds the wall
They can fight about their little girl later
Right now they don't care at all

No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...

Everyday people
Everyday shame
Everyday promise shot down in flames
Everyday sunrise
Another everyday story
Rise from the ashes and blaze
In everyday glory

In the city where nobody smiles
And nobody dreams
In the city where desperation
Drives the bored to extremes
Just one spark of decency
Against a starless night
One glow of hope and dignity
A child can follow the light

No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...
No matter what they say...

Everyday people
Everyday shame
Everyday promise shot down in flames
Everyday sunrise
Another everyday story
Rise from the ashes and blaze
In everyday glory

If the future's looking dark
We're the ones who have to shine
If there's no one in control
We're the ones who draw the line
Though we live in trying times
We're the ones who have to try
Though we know that time has wings
We're the ones who have to fly...

and here's today's

You'll have an optimistic attitude throughout the day, PHILLIP. Your energy levels will be high, and you'll be ready to tackle just about anything. Just don't push yourself too hard. Although you might have a lot of stamina, you could go too far in trying to get things done. Don't try to be Superman! Instead, focus on small, reachable goals. That way, you can have a day filled with ease and flow.

I got the new issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine yesterday and was amazed by an ad for this company, I'll put one of these on my list of things when my powerball numbers all come up this weekend :) I was so amazed that I didn't notice the Epiphone guitar ad (Epiphone makes a good guitar btw), featuring Gretchen Wilson. gah

and that's all for this morning
