For some reason I'm on a "Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen" kinda groove this morning. Nothing like twangy telecasters with reverb cranked up, steel guitar, honky tonk piano, horns, and some damn fine fiddle playin from Andy Stien(now he plays on Prarie Home Companion, on NPR). Back before country music went all to hell, or as Tim Wilson said "Back when Country was ugly"
and I caught myself doing the Cab Calloway walk through the house during their version of "Minnie The Moocher" Shhhhh don't tell anyone!!!!
I'm working on my to do list for spring, I've decided to plant the hopyard below the balcony, I'm planting Cascade and Fuggles. It's also time to start getting the pool chemicals lined up, and all that groovy stuff, change oil in the JD, make sure the battery is charged and blades are sharp.
And now it's time to get ready for a day of fun and adventure at work! Complete with thrilling headgear and spine tingling toast.
I'll work on those picture requests from this post a few days ago this evening. Who knows, I might even give the answers to the song meme thing,or not.
