Grateful Dead Friday/Nascar Wrapup
Jun. 6th, 2008 06:43 amArchive.org now has an embed feature so I'm going to try that with today's Grateful Dead Friday. It's from April 7, of1988 from the Centrum, in Worchester MA. I really like "Feel Like a stranger/Franklin's Tower" on ( this one ) Interesting song selection in the second set, starting with "Sugar Magnolia".
Now for the Nascar Wrapup.
Kyle "Shrub,Rowdy,Wild Thing" Busch will be running three different races, in three different cities this weekend, along with practice and qualifying for these races. Even though I'm the furthest thing from being a fan of either of the Busch brothers, hats off to Kyle for being crazy enough to try this. Maybe he'll be worn out for Sunday's Race at Pocono and one of his Joe Gibbs Teammates will win (if Tony doesn't get near Elliot Sadler). Also Thumbs up to Kyle for this.
Speaking of Tony, He won at the annual "Prelude to the Dream" race at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,OH .
This weekend is the first race of TNT's coverage. *yawns*. There's a video of Hinder's cover of "Born to be Wild" on the TNT website *yawns again*
That's all for this week
