odds and ends and stuff like that

Is it just me or does the week before a three day weekend seem to last forever? I woke up this morning and realized it's only Tuesday.

TV 13 doesn't have the usual morning crew this week, instead they have one anchor in H-ton, and one in Charleston, plus a staff meterologist. Lots of cheesy banter back and forth too, yesterday they were talking about cheeseburgers and pizza.

It's hard to believe that Foozball season is already upon us already, that mean's Hockey season is around the corner. Until then, Go Mountaineers(the only school that I know of with a mascot that's got a gun), and Go Steelers!!!

"Join The Band" a track by track commentary

First track is Dave Matthews on "Fat Man in the Bathtub". I'm not crazy about this track, Dave's voice just doesn't suit this song, and even with Sonny Landreth, the song sounds watered down.

My copy of the CD hasn't arrived yet, I listened on Rhapsody. I heard something about a bonus track of "I will play for gumbo" on the actual CD, if it's on mine, I'll give it at least one listen.
