captain_philI think the temperature around quittin time yesterday was about 19 degrees. I managed to get about 10 amps swept, do a servicability check for a new house, and check out one of the hubs that was having a low temp alarm going off. Hey, according to the news, I did what was right in severe cold weather, I wore layers of clothing, and took frequent breaks. woohoo!
Today's temperature is going to be about 30 degrees higher than the high yesterday. yay! the area I'm working in is going to be slow going due to some really crappy pre-rebuild design work.
I've got to go to the mall and finish shopping this evening, I'm really dreading it. I'll be glad when the holidays are over and things get back to normal. I have heard some intersting songs of the season this year. Steve Morse's rendition of "Joy to the World" is incredible, as is the selection from David Grisman's "Acoustic Christmas" that I'm listening to now.
I had a guitar class last night to make up for one of the ones I missed recently. We've been working on some Bob Wills tunes. They are fairly complex, but fun songs to play.
