I survived my journey across WV, Christmas with the family, and the journey back without any difficulties. We didn't even need a ref at the dinner.
My cousin got me a copy of "Blues and Ballads" by Gary Moore, and a book on pool/billiards. Between that and the homebrewing stuff that
sharkbait got me, I'll be able to crank some tunes, and drink some homebrew while I play pool. If only someone would have gotten me a box of cigars for Christmas......
After coffee with sharky, I was going to stop off at the Waffle House before hitting I-64 Eastbound. It was full, so I drove around behind and spotted a stack of magazines over where the semis park. I could tell from the distance that with that much flesh tone, it could only be porn mags. I picked them up and tossed them in the back of the blazer... They were in good condition, surprisingly.
I made it to Lewisburg around 2:30 or so, woke my brother up, I think we ended up flipping channels, until the Green Bay Packers/Vikings game came on. It was a great game. After Mom got home from work we exchanged gifts.
Yesterday it was dinner at my Aunt's and back to Lewisburg for more food.
I left Lewisburg early today so I could beat the traffic on the turnpike, and get back in time to watch the Steelers game.
That about catches everything up from the weekend.
Thanks go out to
