captain_philFirst off, here's an eyetest.
I spent part of the day at the Greenup KY towersite while they replaced the radio equiptment for the Greenup Co. 911. Then, after sweeping up a bunch of dead bugs, it was off to Boyd County for the other kind of sweep. I decided to work in one of the trashier areas of our service area, the one and only Ray Drive. It looks like it might have been a nice subdivision at one time, but it went downhill FAST! There is a house with a backyard that probably hasn't been mowed in years, and their pool hasn't been covered in at least 3 maybe 4 years.
By 2:30 I'd had enough of dragging my ladder through backyards, up and down hills, etc. so I fueled up my truck and laid low while sending text messages to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sharkbait and puck_nut. It appears that I'll be missing a couple of closeby Mule shows due to being on call.
On the agenda tonight is paying some bills, getting laundry put away and more done before tomorrow, and in general, getting ready for the weekend. Friday is the last paid holiday until March. I'm taking April 1st off to see Tom Jones in Columbus.
